Well, what a great #ChorleyTuesday this has been!
Last week, we had decided to stay local and visit a few places around Chorley town centre.
*Today, we decided to venture out a little in search of a relaxing day in nature, neighbouring farmland, on a picturesque location, surrounded by fine artefacts and workpieces, bespoke goods, special items locally sourced/produced, and some relaxed casual dining. (while still working for #ChorleyTuesday, of course!)
So, today, we decided to go and visit none other than - Cedar Farm!
This is an absolutely brilliant place for: a family trip; a shopping experience for something special, treating yourself or a friend to a slice of "Piccante" or "Crudo" Pizza; a coffee date with your significant other (You're welcome!); or even just a walk around to admire great work of all kinds, feed the farm animals and enjoy a mental break, a visit to Cedar Farm is just what you need!
Beautifully situated just off the south-western perimeter of Chorley district, Cedar Farm truly is a landmark and an asset not only to the good people of the leafy Mawdesley village, but also to the wider population of Chorley district as a whole!
With over 30 independent shops, studios, boutiques - there truly is something for everyone! Oh, and just in case all that was not enough: THERE IS A LIVE FARM, and visitors are welcome to buy animal feed and personally feed the animals - quite the experience!
Not only that but (at the time of writing this blog) Cedar Farm is FREE to enter and there is just so much to see and do - as you can tell from our joyus pictures today!
...And if you are REALLY lucky, you may even get a chance to witness some masters-of-art craft some of their great work LIVE as we did today watching Steve & Léona of SlyGlass produce their BRILLIANT lampwork pieces!
So, please, good people of Chorley (whether you are a long-term resident or just visiting our lovely district) please do take some time out to visit Cedar Farm and the fantastic businesses they have there!
The ice-cream and coffee is pretty darn good too!
