Firstly, welcome back, on the first #ChorleyTuesday post-half-term!

We very much enjoyed our ventures around Chorley district last week, meeting local businesses, visiting various shops, outlets and even a studio - which was great!

However, while on our travels, we found ourselves brainstorming for solutions and outcomes to resolve the most prominent question that underpins everything ChorleyTuesday was founded upon:

• HOW can we maximise our opportunities to meet and connect with local businesses and individuals looking to either start, grow, promote or mature their enterprise?


• HOW can we use our in-house web/software networking or admin skills and resources to help BOOST internal productivity, automate internal processes/admin tasks or any other issue a local business or individual may have within our scope of assistance?

Which then led to the epiphany moment accompanied by a series of further self-analysing questions:

• "What does OUR own website say about us and what we do?"


• "What impression are we giving to local businesses and individuals that we want to connect and work with - have we clearly communicated the services we offer?"

Off the back of these questions, we arrived at one salient and stark realisation: We need a website-content overhaul!

So over the coming week, leading up to our working deadline of 8:00AM 3RD MARCH 2025, we will be making some BIG changes to our site and addressing glaring holes in the missed portrayal of our message, mission, vision and heart for the local business community of Chorley district!

Furthermore, we will also be:
- ABOLISH ALL membership plans and fees:
While ChorleyTuesday.net is a business in its own right, we will ALWAYS value a strong, honest and dependable working relationship with local businesses and individuals far more than any financial incentive we could gain - therefore you will soon have the ability to create a FREE account on ChorleyTuesday.net and post adverts about your business, events, promotions, jobs and achievements FOR FREE* - we will make an annoucement on social media when this is ready!
(*subject to account approval and fair usage which will be outlined in-detail before joining!)

We will also:
- OFFER Exclusive Access to our Private online business Facebook networking group** and our Slack Channel for real-time online networking/communication**

We have some Very Exciting ideas and plans for the immediate future of ChorleyTuesday.net and we cannot wait to share them with you all as we continue to grow and build this brand new Chorley-district-based network of local businesses and individuals!
