Well, nothing is every 'perfect' the first time around, is it?

That is no different to plying a new trade, practicing new method or even learning a new instrument - everything is a learning process!

This week, as our 'virtual' doors opened on Tuesday 28th Jan 2025, we have seen so many great local businesses on social media and learned so much about the amazing work and efforts that go on all over Chorley district!

So naturally as a supporter of local business and eager to use our platform to promote them, it got us thinking things like:

• "Why is no-one signing up?"


• "Why have we not had many enquiries?"


• "What is wrong with what we have produced?"


• "What do we need to do differently?"

THEN the penny dropped - It's NOT about us - ChorleyTuesday.net IS about helping the local businesses!

So while it is always good to look introspectively for points of improvement and self-relection, we have forgetten the FUNDAMENTL thing behind all of our efforts and the single most important purpose we were founded upon:
"How can we help the local businesses of Chorley? And How can we use our skills and experience to meet that need?"

So, with that in-mind, comes a re-adjustment back to our primary-focus here at ChorleyTuesday.net!

Behind the scenes, we are putting plans together to do something quite 'different' in the coming weeks for Chorley businesses, which we will announce on social media in due course.
